Tips for Dandruff free hair

“My favorite color is black, but I can’t wear it. You know..dandruff issues!!” Every 8 out of 10 people nowadays face a problem with those white flakes falling from the scalp which makes us embarrassed if anyone notices it. Do you know how does that dandruff develop in our hair?? It can happen due to a dry scalp or due to Seborrheic Dermatitis (irritated oily skin). We are told by a lot of people that if you do an oil massage then the dandruff problem will vanish, but that is not always true. Every skin type is different and so is the kind of dandruff. There may be a lot of shampoos and products available in the market for treating dandruff, but how can you make sure that it will suit you. Either you go in for a trial and error method and end up losing hair or end up spending uselessly. With home remedies which have been tried and told by our grandmas, we can be sure that there won’t be any side effects at least. Let me tell some such simple and cheap remedies to cure dandruff for different skin types.

External application—Mix 100 gm of coconut oil with 4 gm camphor (kapuur) and keep it in a glass jar. Massage it in the hair roots with a gentle round movement of your fingers in the night. You can also wash the hair in the morning using a mild shampoo. Check for a shampoo whose Ph is less (between 5 to 7). This method should be repeated at least thrice in a week for people who have oily scalp and twice for people with dry scalp. You will start seeing the results in hardly two weeks. Usage of this oil also prevents the growth of lice in the hair.

lemon

Use of Lemon-- Apply the lemon juice on the scalp before half an hour of washing them. After washing the hair with slightly warm water, the dandruff will start falling off and hair will also become shiny.

Another Effective remedy—Mix coconut oil and lemon juice in a 2:1 ratio and also add little powdered camphor into the mixture. Prepare this mixture freshly before applying it in the night with gentle finger movements. Wash the hair with warm water in the morning. This will also have fast results in removing the dandruff and will also make your hair shiny and healthy.

Dandruff is also caused at times due to the consumption of junk food as our skin reacts according to the food intake. If you drink plenty of water and consume lots of salad then the root cause of dandruff, which is the impurity in blood will automatically go and will leave you with good hair and skin.
