Many people love to sport with the kitchen ingredients to enhance their beauty. You may have tried out using the common ingredients like lemon, tomato, turmeric, milk, salt, sugar, besan and many more. Then who have kept a boundary to use lentils like red lentils- masoor dal to make some amazing body scrubs. These scrubs can be prepared easily with in few minutes at your home.

1Masoor dal and turmeric body scrub
Ingredients
Two tablespoons of masoor dal powder
A pinch of turmeric powder
Half tablespoon of honey
How to make
Mix masoor dal powder with honey and turmeric powder. Mix all the three ingredients properly so that you will get a fine scrub. Also add little amount of water for the ideal consistency. Use this as a body scrub to exfoliate your skin. This works ideal in removing dead skin cells. Honey moisturizes and brings a new glow over the skin.
Apply this paste also as a face mask on your face avoiding eyes and lips. Keep it for about 15 to 20 minutes and then slowly remove it by scrubbing in the circular motions, and then rinse it off with plain water.
2. Masoor dal and ghee
Ingredients
Masoor dal scrub
A dash of ghee
How to make
For the above masoor dal scrub add a dash of ghee and mix with it. Now use this scrub to lock moisturize in the skin. It is a simple way to reduce dryness and roughness over the skin. Ghee offers your skin necessary fats that are required by the skin along with the moisturizing properties to get the glowing skin.
3. Masoor dal and peanut
Ingredients
Half cup of masoor dal
Half cup of peanuts
1-2 tablespoons of yogurt
A pinch of turmeric powder
How to make
Pour masoor dal and peanuts in a bowl, grind both of them to a powder and add it a pinch of turmeric powder. Mix all the three ingredients and make into a scrub with the help of yogurt. With the finger tips scrub it on your body entirely. It cleanses your skin, tightens and exfoliates it. Turmeric combats with the body acne, aging factors and also helps to lighten the skin texture.
4. Masoor dal and milk
Ingredients
One cup of masoor dal
Two tablespoons of milk
How to make
Take a cup of masoor dal and dry them under the sun for 3 to 4 days. After that grind them to make a fine powder. Store this powder in a tight lid container and use it with milk when ever you want it. Mix three tablespoons of masoor dal powder with two tablespoons of milk and make it as a body scrub. It is an easy procedure to quickly remove the sun tan, you can also notice skin lightening effects after the usage of this scrub.
Alternatively, soak masoor dal in the water for a whole night and make it into paste with the combination of milk in the following day to use it like a scrub.
