The rise of temperature in malaria fever is accompanied by cold and shivering and it subsides with sweating. It is caused by mosquito bite. The patient of malaria should not consume rice for some days.

Lemon : (1) Fill a lemon with salt and black pepper and heat it. Will reduce the heat of the fever.
  (2)Squeeze two lemon in 2 litre of water, put the rind also in the water  and boil it in a clay pot and keep it overnight after the water has been reduced to half the quantity. Drinking it in the morning provides relief from malaria.
  (3) Drinking lemon water with sugar provides relief from malaria. If there is a rustling sound in the ears as a result  of taking quinine, lemon water will provide relief from that also plenty of milk and lemon should be take with quinine.

 Orange :boil the rind if two oranges in two cups of water. when it is reduced to half strain and drink it hot.
 Apple : Eating apples helps in a speedy recovery from the fever. The paroxysm of malaria fever can be checked by eating an apple before it begins.

Guava : It is useful for patients of malaria. Therefore, it should be eaten by patients of malaria.

Cumin Seeds : Grind 1 tsp. of cumin seeds, mix it with three parts of jiggery  and make three pills. In periodic malaria  to check the paroxysm of fever, take a pill every  hour before the fever begins.

Coriander : Grind coriander seeds and dried ginger in equal quantity and take the powder thrice daily with water. It will provide relief the fever.

Long pepper ; Grind three pieces of  long pepper, mix with honey and lick it. It provides relief from asthma, cough and malaria  fever.

Butter milk : It provides relief from malaria with paroxysm on every fourth day.

Garlic : It the malarial fever occurs at regular intervals, apply garlic juice on the nails of finger and toes before the occurrence of the fever and also mix a tsp. of garlic juice with a tsp. sesame oil and put 10 drops of the tongue of the patient every hour before the fever. Repeating it for four days will provide relief from malaria.

Alum Salt : Mix 1 gm. Of alum salt with two gms. Of sugar and give it to the patient twice at an interval of two hours before the occurrence of the fever. . it will check the malaria fever or reduce its severity. Repeat the treatment in case of anticipated recurrence of the fever. The patient should  remain free from constipation. It he suffers from it, it should first be treated.

 Green chilli : A green chilli should be worn around the right thumb and tied with a piece of cloth two hours before the fever comes. Repeating it twice or thrice will check the recurrence of the malaria fever. The green chilli may cause a durning   sensation. Therefore let it remain on the thumb as you can tolerate it, otherwise remove it. 

Salt : (1) Grind finely one part of rock salt and four parts of boora. Taking half tsp. of it thrice daily with hot water will prevent the reoccurrence of the malarial fever.
(2) Heat five tsp. of common salt on a hot plate till it turns brown. Mix a tsp. of it in a glass of hot water and drink it daily before the fever comes.do not take it during the malarial fever.

Basil : then use of basil is beneficial in all types fever. Eating  basil leaves regularly prevents the occurrence of malaria if one develops malarial fever, boil 22 leaves and  20 ground corns of black pepper in two cupe of water. When the water is erduced to one fourth, mix sugar candy leaves and black pepper can be chewed.

Neem : Grind 60 gms. Of neem leaves along with 4 corns of black pepper, mix it with 125 ml. of water, strain and drink it it will cure malarial fever. It is a dependable recipe.
